Cottage Rental - Outaouais - Lac-Simon

Located directly on the shores of the beautiful Lac Simon, in Chénéville, in Outaouais, this cottage for rent will be much appreciated for stays with family or friends. You will be able to fully enjoy the pleasures of summer during your stay. Swimming is very pleasant here, with its waterfront on the beach and its gentle slope. Take note that there are stairs to access the beach, which doesn't suit people with reduced mobility.

Enjoy some fishing while you are at the cottage! The fishing is good here; the most frequent catches are smallmouth bass, lake trout and pike. If you have a boat, a paying boat descent is available at the lake's marina. You will be able to find out there about the costs of putting your boat to water and the vignette for navigating on the lake. You can use the cottage dock to moor your boat. The water level of the lake is controled by a dam. It is possible that the sandy beach is under water, depending of the opening and closing of the dam. 

In any season, many activities are to be done in the region! In summer, visit the golf courses, Parc Oméga, the many hiking or mountain biking trails, the beaches and the terraces of local restaurants. In winter, skating in the forest, snowmobile trails, ice fishing, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing are the activities to discover.

You can end the day with a good meal on the BBQ or by relaxing around a campfire on the shores of the lake, by the sound of waves. 

Please note that the water supply comes from the lake, and is therefore not considered drinkable. You will find on site a water machine as well as bottles of water provided for the stay.

The traditional lounge in the next room is the perfect place to relax together, as is the other lounge area, giving a splendid view of the lake. The rooms are simple, but their comfort is unparalleled. The bathroom also has everything you need.
