This charming cottage for rent will charm you with its chic-rustic style and its dream location! An immersion in nature awaits you at the cottage L ‘Artiste. This cottage is in a wooded area in the beautiful Lanaudière region which will undoubtedly allow you to get away from your routine! The property is perfect for a romantic getaway or a family getaway.

For lovers of the outdoor and hiking you will also be near the Chutes-du-Calvaire Regional Park and the Mastigouche Wildlife Reserve where you can rent kayaks or canoes. For warmer days, discover the Saint-Gabriel beach giving access to Lac Maskinongé.

To finish off the day you can take advantage of the private 4 season spa or spend time around the outdoor fireplace. The open space of the land as well as the absence of light pollution will allow you to have a breathtaking view of the stars in the sky. It is a grand spectacle not to be missed!

In the winter you can enjoy the direct access to snowmobile and ATV trails.

A bathroom completes the basement area. The bedroom is found upstairs and offers you a pleasant view of the forest when you wake up.

  • A truly wonderful experience and discovery! Perfect for a romantic getaway, this house in the woods is incredibly secluded, clean, and simply impressive. We felt completely immersed in nature and loved every moment. Wouldn't recommend for groups bigger than 3 . Would definitely go back!

  • Mon séjour étant à l'automne, j'ai beaucoup apprécié le petit toît sur le spa pour pouvoir en profiter même s'il a plu. Très chaleureux, j'ai adoré mon séjour! Concernant le chemin/rue pour aller au chalet, il ne serait pas possible pour une petite voiture de se rendre en hiver, car c'est super apique. Il y a un emplacement près des poubelles (je crois) qui est disponible pour laisser la voiture, par contre le portage de bagage serait ardu vu la pente apique qui est un bon 10-15 minutes de marche de là. Il serait bien de l'indiquer sur la fiche que ça prend un 4x4 ou un camion. (personnellement, je ne pourrais pas louer ce chalet en hiver, car je possède seulement une petite voiture - même avec des pneus cloutés - je n'envisagerais pas la montée!)

    Bonjour, Merci beaucoup pour votre commentaire et pour vos bons mots sur le séjour, nous sommes ravis que vous ayez apprécié le spa et l’ambiance chaleureuse du chalet ! Concernant l’accès au chalet en hiver : des mesures ont été mises en place pour faciliter la montée, comme l’épandage d’abrasif supplémentaire pour sécuriser le chemin. La pente peut paraître un peu raide, mais même les véhicules compacts peuvent généralement monter lorsque les conditions sont dégagées. À titre d’information, notre photographe s’est rendue au chalet après une journée de tempête pour une prise de photos et n’a rencontré aucune difficulté à monter la côte avec une Micra (très petite voiture). De plus, nous n’avons reçu aucun retour de locataires cet hiver concernant des problèmes d’accès au chemin. Nous vous remercions d’avoir partager vos inquiétudes Encore merci pour votre retour et au plaisir de vous accueillir de nouveau !
