There are places you arrive and everything slows down, welcome to L’Aurore de la Mauricie. Located in Grandes-Piles, this cotatge rental was designed to deliver an unforgettable stay: the warmth of timber, expansive windows, and the crackle of the fire will help you create memories, whether with family, friends, or colleagues. Nestled between forests, lakes, and the Saint-Maurice River, the area is a four-season paradise: hiking, cycling, kayaking, and swimming in summer; skiing, tobogganing, snowshoeing, and skating in winter. Excellent eateries and scenic lookouts abound, and La Mauricie National Park is close by for days that are both active and contemplative.

In the morning, light slips through the windows and gently wakes the house. You gather around the island, make brunch without bumping elbows, and laugh a little too loudly. Afternoon drifts between games of pool, hiking, and unwinding in the four-season spa. Back home, big conversations unfold while the kids build blanket forts. When night falls, you pull on a coat and step under the stars, then the outdoor fireplace becomes a stage for stories and hot chocolate, or a glass of something a little more festive.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREMISES

Inside this cottage rental, the scent of wood and the light pouring through the vast windows set the tone: everything here invites you to breathe and relax.
