Welcome to our historic farmhouse, fully restored to preserve its period charm while offering modern comforts. Its decor, featuring furniture and artifacts brought back from our travels around the world, gives it a truly unique atmosphere. This exceptional villa is located in Scotstown within the magnificent Star Reserve in the Eastern Townships, near Mégantic National Park. With its fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, yoga and work rooms, stone terrace, and unique garden pavilion, this property offers a high-end retreat perfect for small groups (yoga, writing, personal growth, arts) and unforgettable moments with family or friends.

In the summer, make the most of the backyard, an intimate space adorned with flowers and a truly unique gazebo—a beautifully transformed former church spire. The stone terrace, equipped with a barbecue, is ideal for al fresco dining and moments of relaxation. Out front, the flower-filled porch welcomes you with its elegant furniture, perfect for enjoying a coffee in the morning sun. Around the house, several small areas have been set up with tables and chairs, offering quiet corners for reading, chatting, or simply admiring the various views of the surrounding landscape.

Just a 2-minute drive from the cottage, you have access to Mackenzie Park along the Salmon River.

End your days with a cozy fire; we provide the wood, but don’t forget to bring marshmallows!

INTERIOR DESCRIPTION

On the ground floor, enjoy a cozy living room with a fireplace and a large sofa where you can relax. The well-equipped kitchen provides all the necessary utensils and supplies. A bright workroom, featuring three large windows and three tables, allows you to work comfortably. The yoga room, which opens onto the fields through its patio door, offers exceptional natural light and magnificent sunsets. You’ll also find a bathroom with original cabinetry and toilet, as well as a shower and bathtub.

Upstairs, six bedrooms, each with its own distinct decor and ambiance, await you, along with a large loft that serves as a seventh bedroom. Each bedroom has been designed to offer comfort and warmth. A small reading nook also allows you to enjoy a moment of tranquility. The upper floor features a bathroom with a large walk-in shower, as well as a laundry room available for stays of 5 days or more. Please note that the loft is available only for groups of more than 14 people.
