Cottage Rental - Central Québec - L'Avenir

Located in L'Avenir, a small village in Central Quebec, nestled at the beginning of the Appalachians, a cozy house in the countryside welcomes you in a garden along the Saint-François River.

The house is distinguished by its many gardens, illuminated in the evening. The atmosphere is very welcoming. You can spend your summer evenings outside, on the terrace overlooking the river. The river is also nice for swimming, depending on its water level and is accessible by a slope. The bottom of the water is in small rocks, so remember to bring water shoes. You will also find on the spot 2 kayaks to allow you to go on the river and, why not, to go fishing. Several species of fish crisscross the waters, including bass, walleye and yellow perch. Finish your day around an outdoor fire pit, on the shores of the river, to contemplate the starry sky of the countryside.

You will find on the land two houses. The one that is rented is the big main house. A few meters further is a small workshop reserved for the owners. They sometimes spend a little vacation, but be assured that the land is private and they will respect your privacy throughout your stay.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INTERIOR

The house is welcoming and warm and is distinguished by its large windows everywhere, letting in natural light. The open concept kitchen is practical with its large kitchen island. You will find in this large room a sitting area with a wood stove, perfect for winter stays! The second living room, where is the mezzanine, overlooks the outside with its large patio doors. The two bedrooms of the house are upstairs. That of the masters is equipped with a bathtub and also has its own small balcony overlooking the gardens and the river.
