Located in Danville, in the Eastern Townships, this unique place will charm you with its immersion in nature, providing everything you need for a successful and tranquil stay. A land of over 20 acres awaits you, mostly wooded and bordered by the Nicolet River. The name of the cottage was not chosen by chance; there is indeed a magnificent waterfall embellishing this river. To get there, a 5-minute walk on a gravel trail (suitable for strollers) leads you to a platform with a shelter overlooking the river. You can comfortably sit in the shelter and admire the waterfall. It never gets tiresome! Soothing sounds will accompany you; a mix of calmness, trickling water, birdsong, all accompanied by the breeze from the fall. The place is simply enchanting; the forest with its tall trees perched on cliffs offers landscapes rarely seen.

Swimming is NOT possible near the waterfall. The waters are turbulent and dangerous for anyone wanting to approach.

However, the river runs along the entire property and widens as it moves away from the falls. The waters are calmer, depending on the area and the rainfall of previous days. Swimming is possible in the section where the river is wider. However, you must walk about 10 minutes to reach it, crossing the field, and the descent to the water's edge is steep.

In any season, you will have access to an outdoor fireplace with firewood provided. Whether you are a couple, a family, or friends, gathering around a good fire in the evening is always enjoyable. Come swing around the fire on the beautiful large swings! The place is perfect for stargazing. A private 4-season spa awaits you for an additional moment of relaxation. It is covered, which is very convenient in case of rainy weather!
