Located in the municipality of Lamarche, 45 minutes from Saguenay and 35 minutes from the town of Alma, this apartment is situated at the foot of Monts Valin in a natural fjord. Enjoy a vast, intimate, wooded and mountainous lot, with no nearby neighbors. On site, you'll have a breathtaking view of Lake Tchitogama, as well as a 5-minute walk to the cottage. Walk down the road to the lake, and you'll find a large grassy area with free access to the Camping Tchitogama dock. Fishing here is excellent. The lake is teeming with fish of various species, including pike, walleye and many others.

Back at the cottage, make the most of the outdoors; enjoy your meals outside on the terrace to take in the panoramic view, then light a fire at the end of the day to keep warm!

The cottage is close to ATV and snowmobile trails. With 130 km of navigable waterways, come and discover Lake Tchitogama and the Péribonka River. Nature lovers will adore the Sentier du Lac Tchitogama, the Chutes Blanches and Montagne de la Tour trails, accessible by water. There's plenty to do in the area, just minutes from the cottage:

-Otis Nature: Pike and walleye fishing, boat launch, watercraft rentals ($), sandy beaches and swimming, ATV and hiking trails.
-Jardin Scullion: One of the world's largest conifer gardens, they offer guided tours.
-Évasion Péribonka: Take advantage of the boat launch with a dock. Bring your rowboat or other watercraft to navigate the river, fish and even go as far as the Péribonka dam. Water sports equipment rental ($), gastronomy, mountain biking, hiking, etc.
La ferme à minuit: Guided dog-sledding tours.
-Véloroute des Bleuets: 256 km cycling trail around Lac St-Jean.

If you're lucky enough to make a stop at Parc national du Fjord-du-Saguenay, admire its splendid shores and vertiginous cliffs, it's a must-see in the region!

*In winter, we strongly suggest a 4 X 4 vehicle to climb the slope and access the cottage.
